Oludeniz Coast - All inclusive Oludeniz hotels.

Oludeniz was until the late 80's a little known bay with just one small hotel and a few village rooms dotted along the back of the beach. A travel company called Sunmed went to the area and decided that they would make this beautiful place there new holiday destination. So they helped the locals set up a selection of accommodations and Olu Deniz was born to main stream holiday tourism. The fantastic bay and beautiful natural surroundings are still there, along with an ever increasing choice of accommodation that improves in quality each year. The beach itself is a mix of sand and shingle with all the usual tourist facilities. Sunbeds, parasols and water sports are all available. To the back of the beach there is a good choice of cafes and restaurants to keep you well refreshed throughout the long hot days. The area has a few restaurants that offer a good choice of Vegetarian food. Above the beach resort lies the two villages of Hisaronu and Ovacik, once small farming communities. Now thriving holiday resorts in there own right, both offer a selection of bars, cafes and restaurants. With some fairly lively night life thrown in. Take a trip into Fethiye by local dolmus, wander down by the harbour for a cold beer and then maybe check out one of the typical Turkish restaurants for a bit of Lunch. This area must be one of the most scenic parts of the Turkish Aegean coast, most people that visit the area for a holiday tend to return.

Kalkan & Kas - These are two of the nicest holiday villages along the Turkish coast. They offer a more select and relaxed atmosphere than many of the larger holiday towns that are frequented by thousands of visitors each summer. The sea is aquamarine and the coastline has a combination of sand/shingle beaches. But the swimming is fantastic and in the main safe, ideal for those of you that enjoy snorkelling in the clear seas. Both villages have a good selection of shops, cafes, bars and good quality restaurants. The prices can be a little higher compared to many other Turkish destinations. However the all inclusive concept is not strong in this area at this time, but some of the hotels are now adding this option to their programmes.
