Kusadasi has grown into a big bustling holiday town with plenty to offer holiday makers of all ages. The Grand Bazaar offers an unending supply of souvenir shops, modern boutiques and a wealth of Carpet sellers doing their utmost to entice you into the lions den! Just outside of the town are a number of good sandy bays, the nearest being Ladies beach which can easily be reached by local dolmus. However many of the all inclusive properties are built close to the sea's edge and offer amazing facilities including vast swimming pool complexes, many offering a mini water park which are popular with the families. All inclusive Turkey offer some amazing deals for the best properties in this area. When night time falls a choice of cafes, bars and restaurants are located all around the town. Should it be modern European style music bars or the more traditional Turkish entertainment that takes your fancy it is all available in this bustling resort. The big bonus of this area is the close vicinity to two of the most interesting sights in the whole of Turkey.

Ephesus is one of the seven wonders of the world and this is your chance to take a trip back in time. Wander the streets and try to imagine the ancient Romans going about there days, walking the same cobbles as your treading on your way around this magnificent sight. Pamukkale is a bit of a journey but well worth the effort. The mineral rich thermal springs have created a fairy-tale castle appearance, with white terraces hanging onto the hillside. Cesme & Dalyan Koy are situated just to the south of the city of Izmir and approximately 100kms from Izmir airport. This area has been a low key tourist destination for many and until recently offered just a few holiday hotels. Cesme is a cosmopolitan, colourful and lively town. Still keeping a distinctly Turkish feel. Along the coast are many fine beaches and all offer the daily needs of the modern day sun worshipper. The old town has a delightful atmosphere, walk through the cobbled streets and enjoy what the town has to offer. A visit to the 500 year old castle which is now an impressive archaeological museum should be on your list of things to do in Cesme, an art gallery operates here during the summer months with works by local and International artists. Every evening the streets come alive with people gathering to enjoy the towns alive and kicking cafe culture, entertainers and street hawkers all add to the fun. Dalyan Koy is a charming fishing village about 15 minutes from Cesme by local Dolmus. The harbour has a number of good quality fish restaurants that are popular with the locals from all around. It has a laid back feel with a good sandy beach.

Alacati is a lovely small holiday town tucked away on an inlet on the southern side of the Cesme peninsular. The village has emerged as a target for arty types from Turkey and other European countries. Beautifully restored houses give it a kind of classy Greek feel, with a selection of quaint shops along with many chilled-out cafes it is the perfect place to sit with a cold beer and watch the world go by. Some top quality restaurants are to be found, many offering fresh fish and seafood. The beach in Alacati is rugged and sandy with strong winds for most of the summer, this makes it a haven for windsurfers that travel here from all over Europe. There are many other lovely beaches to choose from in the area, all easily accessible by local dolmus.
