Bodrum and the Bodrum peninsular has had a number of good quality all inclusive Bodrum holiday hotels that have spring up over the last few years. Many are in and around the town itself which makes an ideal base should you be looking for a holiday with plenty to do and see. However if its a more relaxing holiday your looking for then maybe one of the nearby fishing villages or resort hotels will appeal to you more. Bodrum is a lively holiday town with a great selection of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. The nightlife can be chilled-out or wild and lively it just depends what your needs are. Its a very attractive town, whitewashed with narrow streets and flowers climbing across the houses at every corner. It has been a popular haunt with artists and bohemian types for many years.

Torba is a lovely peaceful beach resort with a few good quality restaurants and some laid back cafes/bars. The resort nestles in a fragrant pine forest and olive grove, this area will appeal to those that enjoy quiet days with the chance to go into Bodrum for the evening as its just 7km away. There is a small pebble/sand beach with good beach facilities. There are some good quality all inclusive Torba hotels, offering good service and food in a peaceful environment.

Turgutreis is the second largest holiday town in the region after Bodrum. Here you will find a sophisticated Marina with many fine restaurants, cafes, bars and some exclusive boutiques. There is a long sand and shingle beach which shelves gently into the warm Aegean. Good facilities for watersports and ideal for families. Every saturday during the summer months a market is held selling leather goods, clothing, pottery and fresh local produce. This makes a good day out and gives a lively atmosphere. Being just 20kms from Bodrum it is easy to take the Dolmus which takes around 20 minutes.

Yaliciftlik is 16kms to the east of Bodrum, this is the most peaceful resort on the peninsula and offers a pebble beach with a few traditional style restaurants. Many secluded coves can be reaches by boats from the small harbour, nature lovers enjoy long walks through the forests and lazy days on the beach.

The Bodrum peninsular offers a beautiful costline with many small holiday resorts and some lovely sandy beaches with clear turquoise seas.
